Bacteriostatic Water 30mL
Bacteriostatic water (BAC water) is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. It’s the standard solvent for reconstituting lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides, HGH, and HCG — turning the powder in your vial into an injectable solution.
What Makes It Different from Regular Sterile Water
The benzyl alcohol is the key. Plain sterile water is single-use — once you puncture the vial, bacteria can grow and the water is compromised within hours. Bacteriostatic water stays safe for up to 28 days after opening because the benzyl alcohol continuously inhibits bacterial growth.
This matters when you’re drawing from the same vial multiple times over weeks — which is exactly how most peptide and HGH protocols work.
What It’s Used For
- Peptide reconstitution — BPC-157, TB-500, CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, and other research peptides
- HGH reconstitution — dissolving lyophilized growth hormone for injection
- HCG reconstitution — preparing HCG vials for subcutaneous or intramuscular use
How to Reconstitute
Draw the desired amount of BAC water into a syringe. Inject it slowly into the vial containing the lyophilized powder, aiming the stream against the glass wall — never spray directly onto the powder cake. Let gravity do the work. Swirl gently if needed, but don’t shake — shaking can denature fragile peptide chains.
Once reconstituted, store the vial in the refrigerator (2–8°C). Most reconstituted peptides remain stable for 3–4 weeks refrigerated.

Tips
- Always swab the BAC water vial stopper with an alcohol swab before drawing
- Use an insulin syringe (30G) for reconstitution to minimize rubber coring
- Label your reconstituted vials with the date and concentration
- One 30mL vial is enough to reconstitute multiple peptide vials
